How much editing did ABC do on Sunday?

How much editing did ABC do on Sunday?   Go to the online version and you will read:

“The network chose not to air several key moments, such as when Comey ripped former President Barack Obama.
He criticized the former president for comments made during the bureau’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, suggesting Obama “jeopardized” the Justice Department’s “credibility.”
However, viewers would need to access the entire transcript online to know Comey’s comments on Obama.”

Interesting.   Mr. Comey’s comments about President Obama may have been the most interesting or meaningful part of the interview.

Bad news from Cancun and crime

leave a comment »

We’ve heard about crime in Mexico.   Well, this is a very bad report:

Mexico’s most popular holiday hot spot has become overrun with drug gangs, as violence in the tourist party town escalates to unprecedented levels.
Cancun has seen 14 murders in just 36 hours — the highest ever in the country’s recorded history, according to Noticaribe.
The latest violence on April 4 saw 14 people killed and at least five others left with gunshot wounds, in six separate instances in the party town.
The figures surpass Cancun’s previous record of nine killings in a day, which was set on Nov. 25, 2004.

Can we say “Mexico we have a problem”?

Tourism is a huge industry in Mexico.   It depends on US, Canadian and European tourists.   This is not the kind of information that tourists want to read about.

No one said it’s be easy to reform France

No one said it’d be easy to reform France:

French President Emmanuel Macron is determined to loosen up rules regarding public sector employment but he is facing strong resistance from unions led by French rail workers who have announced plans for several months of rolling walkouts designed to grind the nation to a halt.

Not easy at all.

Pompeo: Are the Democrats serious at all?

leave a comment »

Mike Pompeo will be our next Secretary of State.   Nevertheless, Senate Democrats are obsessed with gay marriage to pander to the party’s left wing.

Catch this exchange between Senator Booker and Mr. Pompeo:

“When I was a politician, I had a very clear view on whether it was appropriate for two same-sex persons to marry,” Pompeo responded. “I stand by that.”
“So do you not believe it is appropriate for two gay people to marry?” Booker asked.
“Senator, I continue to hold that view,” Pompeo replied.
“You’re going to be representing this country and their values abroad in nations where gays individuals are under untold persecution, untold violence,” Booker continued. “Your views do matter.”

The Democrats are not a serious party.
